About me

Who I am

I'm Jason Silverstein. I live in Sarasota, Florida.

I'm a real estate broker and a used golf club reseller.

I've worked from home since 1998. I started off in my parents' real estate company, which had a home office. I've done various things since then, and they've all been from home. Sometimes I have an office outside the home, but there's always been a home component.

Why I started this site

I typically spend a lot of time reviewing things before I buy them, and I read a lot of reviews. I wanted to have my own site reviewing the products that I like.

How I pick and review gear

There's no one to fix the equipment if it breaks. So I try to buy reliable equipment, even if it's a little more money. Sometimes I duplicate the equipment, so I have a backup.

Besides reading reviews nowadays, I also ask AI for recommendations.

There's no piece of equipment that's perfect. So I'll tell you what's good, but also what I don't like.
